For those who have already read 'A Letter Guide For Rebecca', you all know the significance of my buddy Al's fly-in fishing camp. This spring Al and I ventured in to open her up after her long winter nap. Below are a few photos of that trip. I did not include any of the trail parts, as I plan to do another photo shoot when I head in after black fly season. I will have photos of the camp and maybe even one of me enjoying a cigar on the dock with a snifter of port and some fine cheeses :) .....

This is the dock where we start the trek from. That is the Beaver (hehe) aircraft I talk about in the book....

He is a view of my buddy Al looking back at the Resort/Dock and you can see the Beaver (hehe again). I am thinking Jack Black would be the perfect Al in the movie ....

We are arriving at the first portage and you can see another boat on the shore. We will pull the boat out and lock it to a tree and begin our first walking part of the journey (Al, just a reminder about maybe buying a portable Defib unit (lol))....

We have arrived at the next lake and you can see Al looking out trying to appear stoic for the shot... If you look close, you can see the cool little two wheel cart Al build that we use to transport the motor from lake to lake....

A view of our crossing....

The last lake landing area. Just a short hike of about 30 minutes, all up hill, both ways too.... and we will arrive at Al's camp. Stay tune for the next Camp blog article. Al and me may even make a brief recording of one of our jam session.... :)
